THE UNUSUAL EXPERIENCE AT GOA (2019 )

Goa is a place where almost every Indian thinks that it's a place only to be visited by couples or newly weds in other words its a romantic place  but the horror I felt there , made me speechless . During our visit to old Goa , we went to experience  the awesome architecture of that place that included St. Augustine tower , Basilica of Bom Jesus , Se Cathedral , Churches and convents of Goa . Although there were many more places but these were to visit mainly because we only had one week to explore Goa . I wish I  had more time but now amid COVID-19 it seems merely a dream ! 

                 It is said that a thing of beauty is the immense treasure of mystery . So does that thing . Actually there was the coffin made of glass and It was kept too high so that no human could reach the liberator or saviour of Goa , Saint Francis Xavier . He was a catholic missionary who took the vow of poverty and chastity at Montmartre , Paris in 1534 . He was also one of the founder of Society of Jesus . Well , on of the lady who worked there told us that he was the saviour of our Goa . His blessings are still on us . Actually another fact was that he died in  December , 1552 but still his body was not decaying much and it is still preserved without any preservatives . The locals described it as the miracle and blessing of God .

As I stood there to saw him , I saw his hand moving . I was terrified but then I thought it was just because of air flow but then my another logic petrified me . If air would be allowed in the coffin , his body would decay soon . Then I thought it was the ghost and I tried to say it to my mom and she said , " It could be because of your hallucinations " but then she saw its head moved a little and it seemed as if he was watching us that why these morons are standing here even after a long time . Then as we went further there was a big gate that led us to a lobby or a big room you can say where the real coffin with only clothes were placed . I only saw a purple cape like thing then I was terrified and ran outside the basilica . Well , It could be hallucinations just because of the story we had heard before but the thing was that it terrifies me even now . But the positive side of my mind said , " It could be his blessings " and then i never talk about it .

There were many people but one thing was for sure it is a mysterious beauty !

Trip to Gaya ( Bihar) : SITA KUND

It was about 4 am in the morning when we all had to go to the temple to perform the ritual . I was so excited , as you all have guessed about me from my previous post . Well ! It was the time when I got break from my boring and dull academic life and learn something new . We were taken to a large ground ( which seemed first ) but then Pandit g explained that it was the area of  'FALGU' river .   THE CURSE OF FALGU  : It was said that at one point Falgu river was one of the major river in India . But its fate changed when shree ram visited gaya with his wife sita for pinddaan  during pitripaksha .
